A Bustle, A Corset, and the London Necropolis Express

Two things are happening.

There’s a pandemic in London and three women are running an office to gather information about the spread of the disease.

And there’s a play opening on the West End, a play by Mr. George Bernard Shaw called “Mrs. Warren’s Profession”.

Apparently the two things are related. The three women, the three backstage renegades from Shaw’s play, have to work long hours to make sense of what is happening to their city, while the central characters, including the notorious Mrs. Warren, relax in a refined country setting.

And there’s a baby. It makes all the difference.
